º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ is fortunate to have a long history of philanthropy supported by generations of Old º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵians, parents and friends. This tradition of giving is a reflection of the School community’s generosity, for which we are most grateful.
The mission of the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Foundation is to ensure that the best-quality educational environment possible is provided for all boys seeking a º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ education, through the delivery of significant capital projects on campus and by supporting º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s comprehensive scholarship program.

During his 38 years as an educator at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, David Bean exemplified º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s motto of Duty. As a rowing coach, literature teacher, curriculum head and Deputy Headmaster, David’s broad interests, impeccable standards and passion for boys’ education fostered the culture of academic excellence that is now a hallmark of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
To acknowledge his significant contribution to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and his profound impact on generations of students, the Board of Governors announced the establishment of the perpetual David Bean Scholarship.Ìý
Inaugurated in 2025, the David Bean Scholarship is the most significant academic scholarship at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ. With provision for up to 100% fee remission from Year 7 to Year 12, this scholarship has the potential to offer a life-changing education to academically gifted students who would not otherwise be able to attend º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
This year, we hope the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ community will come together and join us in supporting future generations of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ scholars and securing the academic legacy of David Bean OAM at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

The Cygnet Society was formed in 2008 by the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Foundation and the Board of Governors to recognise, thank and honour those who have chosen to remember the School in their Will during their lifetime.
Everyone who informs us that they have remembered º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in their Will is invited to join the Society. Importantly, it gives the School an opportunity to thank the Society’s members during their lifetime by inviting them to special events and keeping them in touch with the School.
Please contact the Foundation Office on +61 8 9347 0116 if you are interested in contributing to the Honouring the past – Building the future campaign through your bequest.
