Led by the first Anglican Bishop of Perth, Mathew Blagden º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, the School began as the Collegiate School for boys, before changing its name to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in 1929.
Bishop º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ was well known for empowering the South Australian Aboriginal people. His legacy was later honoured with º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ being one of the first schools in the country to offer an Indigenous Scholarship program and an Aboriginal cultural tour to the Kimberley region.
